JAMES HILLIN, CPA founded the firm in 1971. He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jim is also an Investment Adviser Representative of Strategic Investment Advisors, Ltd, an SEC-registered investment advisor.
R. DWAYNE CLARK, CPA joined the firm in 1977 and is a shareholder. He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.
JOHN A. HILLIN, CPA joined the firm in 1997. He is a graduate of Kansas University and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. John is also an Investment Adviser Representative of Strategic Investment Advisors, Ltd, an SEC-registered investment advisor.
CHRISTOPHER CLARK joined the firm in 2006 as a staff accountant. He is a graduate of Arkansas State University. Chris is an auxiliary member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.
CORRIE VASSALLI joined the firm in 2007 as a staff accountant. She is a graduate of Strayer University. She is an auxiliary member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
DIANA TOWNSEND joined the firm in 2009 as a staff accountant. She is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. Diana is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
BARBARA JOHNSON joined the firm in 1996. She is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. Barb is a staff accountant and an enrolled agent.
LYNN HILLIN joined the firm in 1978. She attended Southeast Missouri State University. Lynn is the Firm Administrator and an Investment Adviser Representative of Strategic Investment Advisors, Ltd, an SEC-registered investment advisor.
B J ABERNATHY AND JOY SIEBERT are our support staff in the Cape Girardeau location. B J joined the firm in 1986 and Joy came to the firm in 2001.
LINDA COOK is the support staff member at our Hayti location and joined the firm in 1992.
OUR HISTORY
Hillin and Clark, PC was founded November 22, 1971, by James Hillin.
The firm has office locations in Cape Girardeau and Hayti, Missouri. The Cape Girardeau practice has a general mix of clients in wholesale, retail, service and manufacturing industries while the Hayti practice has a high concentration in agricultural related businesses.
We encourage involvement in the AICPA and MSCPA as well as local civic organizations. We feel it is beneficial to share knowledge with and learn from fellow professionals.
Our Credentials
Hillin and Clark, PC is a member of the Private Companies Practice Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Our firm has a Peer Review every three years as required by the AICPA.
Our professional staff are members of the AICPA and MSCPA. They are required to complete professional continuing education each year as required by these organizations and the State Licensing Boards of Accountancy.
